Fresh Camp Nou footage shows major progress across Barcelona stadium’s roof, facade and seating

FC Barcelona's Camp Nou redevelopment is continuing to gather pace, with fresh footage showing major progress across the stadium's roof, facade and seating areas.

The latest update provides another glimpse of the venue beginning to take on the shape of its eventual design.

New Camp Nou shape begins to emerge in latest update

The latest footage shows work continuing across almost every section of the stadium, although progress varies between areas.

At the North Goal, the new LED lighting system is expanding rapidly, with workers connecting electrical cables and constructing a new stepped, amphitheatre-style seating structure.

The Tribune is also progressing, with ceramic‑lama anchors being installed across multiple levels and the staircase flooring close to completion as more slabs are fitted.

One of the busiest zones remains the Lateral — the long east‑side stand that forms one of the stadium’s main structural spines.

Work here is centred on the Diamond structure, reinforcement and LED lighting, while crews are also preparing the third level for the upcoming installation of insulated sandwich panels used for the stadium’s exterior and upper‑tier enclosures.

The huge compression ring is now close to completion, with just 12 boxes remaining before the full structure is closed.

Work around the South Goal and corner areas is moving at a slower pace, with preparations continuing for future lamas and exterior panels.

Taken together, the latest developments show the stadium gradually moving away from its exposed construction appearance and towards the final structure that Barcelona supporters will eventually see.

The sheer scale of the redevelopment is becoming increasingly obvious as the roof structure, seating, lighting and exterior elements begin to come together.

There is still plenty of work to complete, but each new update makes it easier to see how dramatically Camp Nou is being transformed.
