Hill Dickinson Stadium's records and unique features

Construction began in 2021, with the stadium rising on the site of the former Bramley-Moore Dock.

More than 450,000 cubic metres of sand were transported to fill the dock, while approximately 12,500 tonnes of structural steel were used in the project.

The playing surface measures 105m by 68m and uses SISGrass hybrid grass. The steep South Stand, designed to accommodate more than 13,000 supporters, was built to create an imposing atmosphere inspired by famous European football ends.

Everton's former home, Goodison Park, held 39,414 spectators. The move to a capacity of 52,769 therefore provided space for approximately 13,355 additional supporters.

The stadium's naming-rights partnership was announced on 16th May 2025. Hill Dickinson, the Liverpool-founded law firm established in 1810, became the venue's official naming partner. Although reports have suggested a value of up to £10m annually, the financial terms have not been officially disclosed.
