Hill Dickinson Stadium set for spectacular first-ever Christmas transformation with new attractions

Hill Dickinson Stadium is preparing for its first festive season with a new programme of Christmas attractions, family experiences and seasonal entertainment.

Everton's impressive waterfront venue will host an illuminated stadium trail, Santa experiences, Christmas parties and festive dining throughout December.

Everton's waterfront home set to host Christmas attraction

The Magic of Christmas will transform Hill Dickinson Stadium into a festive destination, with visitors able to experience parts of the ground in a completely different setting.

The centrepiece is Enchanted Lights, an illuminated trail beginning on Everton Way before taking guests through the West Stand Players' Entrance and down the Players' Tunnel.

Visitors will then take their seats pitchside for a Christmas light show before continuing to a festive village in The Yard, featuring seasonal food, drinks and live entertainment.

Families can also book Santa's Grotto, while the club's Breakfast with Santa experience will return with festive activities, a special gift for every child and a mini stadium tour featuring behind-the-scenes access.

Adults will have the option of two apres-ski-themed Christmas party nights, complete with live music, DJs and alpine-inspired entertainment. Domingo's Bar & Grill will also host a special Christmas bottomless brunch.

Bookings for the various experiences are available through the Hill Dickinson Stadium website.

FGG says: Everton giving their stadium a festive purpose for first time

The Christmas programme offers Everton a chance to showcase Hill Dickinson Stadium beyond matchdays, opening its doors to families and visitors looking for a different festive experience.

We've seen the likes of rugby and golf arrive on Bramley-Moore Dock over the past six to 12 months, and now there will be something for local families.

If successful, it could continue to establish the waterfront venue as a year-round destination for the city, rather than somewhere supporters only visit to watch football.
