Celtic will travel to Italy to take on Atalanta on Wednesday, 23 October in what already feels like an important Champions League match for the Hoops.

Celtic started their campaign with a win but took a 7-1 beating away at Borussia Dortmund so they will be determined to give a better account of themselves at the Gewiss Stadium.

Thousands of Celtic fans are expected to make the trip over and if you are still on the hunt for Atalanta vs Celtic tickets, then here is everything you need to know.

Tickets in the home end

Atalanta have released ticket information for the match against Celtic and as of 11 October, tickets are still available to be purchased.

In order to buy tickets for the match, you will need to either be registered with Vivaticket online or have access to one of their physical hubs in Italy.

Ticket prices for the match range from €35 to €195 but the majority of cheap tickets are now sold out. The remaining tickets available are as follows:

  • Tribuna Rinascimento – €110.78
  • Tribuna Ovest – €110.78
  • Intero Pitch view – €195.18
  • Tribuna Onore – €195.18

Atalanta have put security protocols in place to prevent anyone from the United Kingdom and Ireland from purchasing tickets via their portal.

Tickets in the away end

Celtic were blessed with a large allocation of 3,800 for their trip to Signal Iduna Park in their last Champions League away match but they haven't been as fortunate this time around. They have been given just 1,300 tickets by Atalanta for the match meaning the away section will look rather small on the night.

These tickets have all sold out as expected with season ticket holders with the most loyalty points getting priority. Thousands of Celtic fans are expected to travel over without tickets to sample the atmosphere and potentially get lucky with tickets on the day of the game.

Third-party tickets

With away tickets all sold out and Atalanta blocking Celtic fans from purchasing tickets in the home end, many fans could turn to third-websites to secure tickets for the match. While this often seems like a good idea at the time, there are countless stories of people being scammed by such platforms so exercise caution at all times.

Even on platforms that are reputable, tickets will be going for a price far greater than face value but if you are happy to pay over the odds and take a risk then this is a viable option.

Seatpick is one of the most reputable third-party platforms and they are currently listing tickets for the match with the cheapest ticket currently listed at £74.
