We are now less than one week away from Chelsea's opening fixture at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, when the Blues face Los Angeles FC on 16 June.

Initially, Enzo Maresca's side were drawn against Mexican outfit Club Leon, but after they were found to have breached FIFA's multi-club ownership rules, Los Angeles FC took their place.

Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC tickets

As with all FIFA events, purchasing tickets for any match must be done through the official FIFA ticket portal, rather than through a specific club's website.

To do so, you will need to register an account with FIFA.

Once through that stage, there will be a few options available to you. One such option is a ‘Club Fan' ticket, which grants you access to a seat in a dedicated Chelsea section of the stadium.

These were originally sold to Chelsea season ticket holders with unique access codes, but there are a few remaining on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Unfortunately, FIFA have not published exact ticket prices, but it has been reported that 2025 Club World Cup tickets typically range between £100-£350.

You also have the option of purchasing general public tickets and hospitality tickets for the game, but both of these will be located away from the Chelsea fans section, and in the case of the latter, will also be much more expensive than regular tickets.

All tickets will be dispatched by FIFA themselves and must be downloaded before entry.

Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC fanzones

Some clubs have announced official plans for dedicated club fanzones at the tournament, unfortunately, Chelsea do not appear to be one of them at the time of writing.

However, there will be fanzones provided by FIFA in each of the 11 host cities during the tournament.

At these facilities, supporters will be able to take part in VR penalty shootouts, mini five-a-side matches and a whole host of other activities before and after matches.

These fanzones will also screen each game for free. Entry to such venues will be free of charge, but you will be searched before doing so.

Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC venue

The Blues' opening fixture will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

It will be the only time the West London outfit play at the ground during the group stage, however, the venue will be hosting a Round of 16 match and a quarter-final game, so they may well be back at the ground if they reach those stages.

The stadium has a capacity of around 71,000 and represents an excellent host due to its sleek and modern design.

Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC TV channel

All 63 matches at the 2025 Club World Cup will be free to watch on DAZN globally and indeed in the United Kingdom.

It will be the first time such an arrangement has been made, with DAZN securing their first big broadcasting deal in the world of football.

As a result, all Chelsea fixtures, including Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC, will be available in one place, free of charge, for the entire tournament.

DAZN itself is not a TV channel and operates more similarly to a streaming service. It can be accessed via an app on devices such as game consoles and TVs, or through its official website.
