How to watch Man City vs Wydad in Club World Cup – tickets, fanzones, price, venue, TV channel

Manchester City are gearing up for their first match at the FIFA Club World Cup, with the Cityzens set to take on Wydad AC at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, 18 June.

Many of the players in Man City's squad are already familiar with becoming world champions after doing so in 2023, after winning the previous iteration of the Club World Cup.

They will now be keen to become the inaugural winners of the new iteration this summer.

Man City vs Wydad tickets

Man City vs Wydad tickets are still on sale, and if rumours are to be believed, then FIFA could be virtually giving them away in the days leading up to the game due to the general lack of interest in the tournament over in the USA.

To get your hands on tickets for the match, fans should head to the FIFA ticket portal and select which match they want tickets for. There are tickets available in both fan sections of the stadium and also general tickets in other parts of the stadium.

The cheapest tickets for the match at the time of writing are priced at $43, but considering FIFA are now selling tickets for the opening match of the tournament for $4, it might be worth waiting until the last minute to purchase.

Man City vs Wydad on TV

Man City vs Wydad will be available exclusively on DAZN. The online streaming platform has secured the global rights to broadcast the tournament on their website and app, with the likes of ITV and BBC declining the opportunity to bid for the rights.

DAZN have made all matches available for free, meaning fans won't need to pay their usual subscription fees in order to watch Man City vs Wydad.

If you can't catch the match live, then Manchester City will upload match highlights to their YouTube and social media channels shortly after the final whistle. Fans can also watch pre and post-match interviews with Pep Guardiola and select players through these channels.

Man City vs Wydad fan zones

FIFA are setting up Club World Cup fan zones in each host city throughout the tournament, so fans in Philadelphia can expect one to be set up for the match between Man City and Wydad on Wednesday, 18 June.

All of these fan zones will be well worth visiting. FIFA will organise various activities within them, including mini five-a-side matches and VR penalty shootouts. Each match from the tournament will also be screened in these fan zones, and entry to them will be free.

Man City have announced a fan zone in Atlanta, but this isn't being set up until the weekend after the match against Wydad.

Man City vs Wydad venue

Man City vs Wydad will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The stadium is the home of NFL side, the Philadelphia Eagles and has a capacity of 69,328. In total, the stadium will host eight matches over the course of the tournament.
