Inter and AC Milan are preparing to present their vision for a new San Siro, with I Nerazzurri president Giuseppe ‘Beppe' Marotta confirming that the plans will be revealed “as soon as possible”.
The announcement follows a major step towards replacing the iconic Giuseppe Meazza with a modern stadium designed to strengthen both clubs financially.
When Inter and AC Milan will present new San Siro plans
Marotta reiterated the clubs' intention to move forward with their shared stadium project while speaking at an event at Milan's City Hall, just hours before their Champions League meeting with Club Brugge.
“What I announced yesterday at the shareholders' meeting is that it will certainly be presented by AC Milan and Inter as soon as possible. It will be the stadium of the future,” he said, per reports in Italy.
The comments follow Inter's approval of its 2025/26 accounts, with revenues again exceeding £425m and the club returning a profit as it continues to balance financial sustainability with sporting ambition.
The acquisition of the Giuseppe Meazza and the surrounding San Siro area last November marked a major breakthrough in the project, with the clubs later winning a key legal battle against objections to the redevelopment plans.
The next step is for the two Milan giants to present their design work to the public.
The proposed venue is envisaged as a sports and entertainment hub that would remain open to the public beyond matchdays. Both clubs see owning their stadium as an opportunity to increase revenue and narrow the financial gap to Europe's leading teams.
Although Marotta did not provide a specific unveiling date, his comments suggest that the presentation is the next major milestone in the clubs' plans.

FGG says: New San Siro plans will reshape Inter and AC Milan's future
The prospect of a new San Siro represents more than a change of stadium for Milan's two biggest clubs.
A modern venue with greater commercial potential could give Inter and AC Milan additional opportunities to generate income and compete with Europe's wealthiest sides.
However, supporters will want to see actual progress after years of debate surrounding the future of the Giuseppe Meazza.
Presenting the designs would give fans a clearer idea of what the clubs intend to build and how the project could transform the matchday experience.
