Fresh drone footage has captured significant progress on Wrexham's Kop Stand redevelopment project, with cranes lifting major steel components into position.
The latest update from October 8th also shows advances to the stand's rear cladding, glazing and terracing as construction continues at the Racecourse Ground.
Kop Stand roof works continue to ramp up at the Racecourse Ground
The footage highlights the careful coordination required to install the new roof structure, with cranes positioning heavy steel sections while workers in cherry pickers secure them with bolts.
The installation marks a major visible step in the Kop project, as work increasingly moves towards establishing the stand's structural framework above the developing terraces.
Elsewhere, glazing installation at the rear of the stand is largely complete, while contractors continue fitting mesh-like cladding to the exterior.
Construction teams are also filling sections of the terracing towards the back of the stand. This work will provide a stable foundation before progress can continue on the main front-facing terraces.
Wrexham have also recently purchased a corner of land previously outside the club's control. The acquisition is intended to secure the club's future and provide greater flexibility for potential stadium expansion.
FGG says: Wrexham's Kop roof progress brings another stadium milestone closer
The installation of the roof steelwork is an encouraging development for Wrexham, with the latest footage showing the project moving beyond groundwork and into a more recognisable stadium structure.
There remains plenty to complete, particularly across the terracing and exterior, but the combination of roof installation, glazing and cladding demonstrates progress across several key areas.
The next important stage will be seeing the roof structure take shape alongside the completion of the stands themselves.
With work continuing across multiple sections, the coming weeks should provide a clearer picture of how quickly the stand's main structure can take shape.
