Leeds share Elland Road ticket details for pre-season fixtures as fans issued access warning

Leeds United have confirmed ticket details for their two home pre-season friendlies at Elland Road, while issuing supporters with an important warning over stadium access as redevelopment work continues ahead of the 2026-27 Premier League season.

Daniel Farke's side will welcome Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig on Saturday, August 8 before hosting FC Augsburg a week later in their final warm-up match, which would be followed by a trip to Nottingham Forest for their Premier League opener on August 22.

However, fans attending either fixture have been advised that parts of Elland Road will be closed because of the ongoing redevelopment of the West Stand.

Leeds confirm ticket prices and phased sales process

The club has announced that ticket prices will be identical for both friendlies, with adult tickets priced at £25.

Disabled adults will pay £20, concessions £15 and juniors under the age of 16 £10. Concessions apply to supporters aged 65 and over, young adults aged 19 to 22 and those aged between 16 and 18.

Tickets will be sold across four phases, beginning at 10.30am on Monday, July 20, when General Admission Season Ticket Holders can purchase their existing seat. Those seats will remain reserved until midnight on Tuesday, July 21.

Phase Two opens at 10.30am on Wednesday, July 22, allowing displaced season ticket holders from affected sections to purchase any remaining seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

The third sales phase begins on Thursday, July 23, with My Leeds Members receiving access. Priority Members will receive an exclusive one-hour window before sales open to all members, with a limit of one ticket per member.

Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from Monday, July 27. Supporters can purchase tickets online through the club's ticketing platform or via the dedicated telephone booking lines, while hospitality packages for both fixtures are also available from £90 including VAT.

Fans warned over stadium access as redevelopment continues

Leeds have also confirmed that the West Stand and North West Corner will be closed for both pre-season fixtures because of the ongoing redevelopment project.

As a result, supporters have been warned there will be no access through the main West Stand entrance.

The temporary changes will also affect visiting supporters, as RB Leipzig fans will be accommodated in the South Stand Upper, occupying sections SS4, SS5 and SS6 via Entrance 14A, while FC Augsburg supporters will instead be located in Block L35 of the East Stand Family Area.

The club stressed that these arrangements only apply to the pre-season friendlies. Away supporters will return to their usual location in the West Stand once the Premier League season begins, while the South Stand will remain a home section following completion of the redevelopment.

Leeds also reminded supporters that children under the age of two will not be admitted for health and safety reasons. Any supporter aged between two and 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated alongside them, while unaccompanied children under 16 will not be permitted entry.

With construction work continuing around Elland Road, supporters are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the temporary access arrangements before travelling to either fixture.

FGG says: Short-term inconvenience for long-term gain

The temporary closures will undoubtedly create some disruption for supporters, particularly season ticket holders who normally sit in the West Stand. However, Leeds have put together a clear phased ticketing process and provided plenty of notice regarding the revised seating arrangements. 

With Elland Road undergoing its biggest transformation in decades, a degree of short-term inconvenience is inevitable as the club works towards delivering a significantly improved matchday experience.
