Lincoln City have revised their plans for the GRS Signs Stand following a review of stadium operations during the opening four home league fixtures.

The decision will see the newly built north-east corner section reserved for Imps supporters, with visiting fans allocated a single stand.

New GRS Signs stand will now be for home supporters only

The GRS Signs Stand was added to the ProAmpac Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, but Lincoln have already changed how the new section will be used.

The Championship club confirmed the revised arrangements will begin against Burnley on Saturday 24th October, following a review that included input from the Safety Advisory Group.

Away supporters will now be accommodated solely in the Stacey West Stand, although Lincoln fans will also continue to have a presence in that section of the ground.

Tickets for home supporters in the GRS Signs Stand will go on sale at 10am on Monday 12th October, for the Burnley fixture. Sales for the Birmingham City match will follow at 10am on Tuesday 13th October.

Lincoln have confirmed that the arrangements will remain under review as part of their ongoing stadium operations, but have not specified which issues prompted the change.

FGG says: Lincoln face a winter test to fill their new stand

Lincoln's decision to make the GRS Signs Stand a home supporters' area could help improve the atmosphere, but filling the new section consistently may prove difficult as winter approaches.

With colder temperatures, biting winds and miserable weather likely to test supporters during the months ahead, the club will need to convince fans that the new seating is worth using when conditions turn unpleasant.

The additional capacity is one thing, but ensuring it remains well occupied through the harsh English winter is another challenge entirely.
