Major boost for Wrexham’s new Kop Stand as key delivery now set to accelerate top‑tier works

Wrexham AFC's Kop Stand redevelopment has taken another step forward after a major delivery of pre-fabricated concrete components arrived on site.

Fresh footage suggests work on the upper tier is beginning to gather momentum as contractors prepare for the next phase of construction.

The latest construction update from the Racecourse Ground shows significant progress following the arrival of new pre-fabricated concrete sections, which are now being installed on the upper levels of the new Kop Stand.

Work is currently focused on the top floor, where crews are fitting flooring and shuttering while steadily clearing space across the main concrete slab.

The delivery includes components for the upper staircase and walkway, bringing the stand another step closer to taking shape.

With more of the slab now cleared, contractors are preparing to build a new jig at the end of the structure, allowing work to continue on the next section of the stand.

The pace of construction has visibly increased, with the workforce making quick progress across multiple areas of the site.

The latest footage also reflects the increasingly advanced stage of the project, with much of the repetitive heavy lifting now giving way to more detailed structural work as the new Kop continues to rise.
