Manchester United supporters are planning two separate protests against the club's ownership during Sunday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Fans have been urged to bring green and gold balloons to the stadium and avoid spending money inside the ground, while a separate group is calling for a walkout in the 21st minute.
Man Utd supporters plan dual protests against Glazers and Ratcliffe
The 1958 group has called on supporters to show their anger towards the club's ownership, with the demonstration reportedly receiving backing from other fan groups, including Reclaim the Stretford End, South Stand United and Retro Reds.
In a statement released on Friday, the group encouraged fans to bring their own balloons, scarves and shirts to support the team while making their opposition to the owners clear.
The statement read: “Bring your own balloons, scarves and shirts to get behind the team and show the owners we want to stay at Old Trafford and want to see ownership gone. Release as the players come out pre-game.”
Green and gold balloons were also used during United's recent 3-2 victory over Roma in the Champions League, with supporters hoping to create another eye-catching display ahead of the Aston Villa fixture.
Meanwhile, the proposed 21st-minute walkout has attracted attention on social media, although the idea has proved divisive among sections of the fanbase.

One supporter voiced their backing for both demonstrations, writing: “If you are getting behind either of these protests tomorrow then you have my respect and support. Please get involved, doing something is better than doing nothing in my opinion.”
Another account called for supporters to put their differences aside and unite against the ownership, posting: “A UNIFIED fanbase to get them out as much we can show the media the ownership that we will not stop till they are gone.”
A third supporter also urged fans to back the demonstrations, regardless of their views on those organising them, adding: “Whatever people think of the guys doing it put that aside and get behind it until the glazers are gone.”
FGG Says: United supporters are making their frustration clear
The planned demonstrations underline the continued discontent among sections of the Manchester United fanbase, with supporters using the Aston Villa fixture to make their feelings about the club's ownership known.
Whether the walkout attracts significant numbers remains to be seen, but the protests provide another indication that frustration over the Glazers and Ratcliffe has not gone away.
