Marc Guehi may well be all set to leave Crystal Palace next summer, but the England defender is, and will remain, a fan favourite among Palace supporters.

His behaviour since seeing his move to Liverpool collapse last summer has only proven further what a top professional he is, and although nothing is confirmed at this stage, it is expected to be a sad farewell for the Palace faithful at the end of the season.

In terms of their Marc Guehi chant, there are a few that do the rounds at Selhurst Park and in Crystal Palace away ends. Additionally, there is also one that England fans have adopted for him since he became a regular for the Three Lions.

For all the key information on these Marc Guehi chants, check out our guide below.

Marc Guehi chant, lyrics and tune

The most popular Crystal Palace Marc Guehi chant is sung to the tune of ‘You to Me Are Everything' by The Real Thing. The lyrics are as follows:

You to me are everything,

You'll hear The Holmesdale Road end sing,

Marc Guehi, Marc Guehi,

South London raised, he had a dream,

To represent his local team,

Marc Guehi, Marc Guehi

England's Marc Guehi chant, lyrics and tune

As mentioned, England fans also have a Marc Guehi chant. This one is sung to the same tune and was created during Euro 2024. The lyrics are as follows:

You to me are everything,

You’re taking England to Berlin,

Marc Guehi, Marc Guehi,

And when you play with Jonny Stones,

I am sure that football's coming home,

Marc Guehi, Marc Guehi

Marc Guehi chant background

The Marc Guehi chant was initially created by Crystal Palace fans but the most famous version is the England one. Alongside the Phil Foden chant to the tune of Dancing in the Dark, this Guehi chant was the sound of the Euros from an England perspective.

Speaking about his football chant, Guehi said: “Humbling, humbling. I've never had my own song before, so yeah, for this to be out there, fans to be signing this is unbelievable, to be honest, but very, very humbling.

You don’t usually get people signing your name. You do your job and then you move on, but to be getting some appreciation is very, very, very, very nice. Just a great feeling to be honest. I’m glad Stonesy’s in the song as well, not just me.”

FGG says: One last chance to make it heard, Crystal Palace fans

The fact that Marc Guehi isn't aware that he has a Crystal Palace chant is quite sad, but there is still time for Palace supporters to get this going before his expected departure next summer. After several years of excellent service to the club, it is the least he deserves.
