Fresh aerial footage has offered Wrexham supporters a closer look at the rapid transformation taking place behind the goal at the Racecourse Ground.
The latest update highlights just how quickly work is advancing at one of the club’s most anticipated projects.
Fresh Racecourse Ground footage shows Kop Stand redevelopment progress
New drone footage from the STōK Cae Ras shows significant progress on the redevelopment of the Kop Stand, with groundwork continuing to move forward at pace.
The video captures key stages of construction, including ongoing concrete work and essential waterproofing measures designed to protect the stand’s foundations before backfilling begins.
With early structural elements now taking shape, the next phase is expected to include steel installation as the project begins to rise more visibly above ground level.
The £52 million redevelopment is a central part of the club’s long-term vision under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, with daily progress continuing to bring that plan closer to reality.
FGG says: Wrexham's Kop Stand vision is finally taking shape
For months, updates have focused a lot on the groundwork, and while it's the most important phase, it is not always the most exciting visually.
Now, though, this is the stage where fans can really start to see the stand coming to life as it moves up into the sky.
Once the steelwork begins, the transformation will feel even more real, and suddenly the Kop’s long-awaited return won’t seem all that far away.
So for Wrexham fans, this footage must be rather exciting as the Championship side look on track to meet their deadline.
