Power Court construction update as new Luton Town drone footage shows latest progress

Luton Town's new Power Court stadium is continuing to take shape, with construction now visibly progressing across all four stands.

Fresh footage from the site shows work moving into another important phase, with the North Stand now getting underway and the groundwork largely complete.

North Stand works underway at Luton's Power Court site

A piling rig has returned to the Power Court site to begin work on the North Stand, marking another significant step forward in the construction of Luton's new home.

The return of piling equipment comes after the major sewage works that previously occupied a large part of the site have now largely been completed, allowing construction activity to spread further across the development.

The East Stand is also progressing, with more concrete being poured and rebar appearing as its structure begins to take shape.

Meanwhile, the West Stand is expected to develop quickly given the facilities it will house, including the club shop, pub, changing rooms and media centre.

Work is already progressing in this area, while the South Stand continues to advance with further columns and first-floor construction still required.

The site remains busy throughout the week, with construction crews starting early in the morning. Some areas, including the corner portals, remain relatively quiet as access requirements dictate the order of construction.

With work now taking place across all four stands, the project remains on course for its projected completion next spring.

The return of piling for the North Stand is another encouraging milestone for Luton, particularly with the sewage works no longer dominating the site.

There is still a huge amount to do ahead of Luton's final season at Kenilworth Road, but seeing all four stands progressing simultaneously shows just how quickly Power Court is now developing.
