Power Court update: Latest look at new Luton Town stadium as West Stand begins to take shape

Luton Town's new Power Court stadium is continuing to make visible progress, with the West Stand now beginning to take shape above the initial groundworks.

The latest footage also provides a closer look at the facilities being built into the Hatters' future home.

The latest construction update filmed over the weekend shows the West Stand moving into a more advanced stage of construction as the structure starts to take its final shape.

The project remains on course to open for the 2028/29 season, despite the recent extreme temperatures causing some disruption to concrete pouring.

Updated architectural drawings provide further insight into the West Stand, which will contain the away changing rooms, showers, visitor toilets and an under-18 area, alongside a dedicated visitors' warm-up space.

The stand will also house a major catering hub with freezer and storage facilities, while loading bays and access points for team buses have been incorporated into the design.

Elsewhere, significant progress has been made on the East Stand flooring compared with previous weeks, while plans have identified the locations of hospitality areas, elevators and a pub.

The latest drone footage also highlights just how much the Power Court site has changed since 2024, following the relocation of the power station and diversion of the River Lee, as Luton prepare to leave Kenilworth Road behind in the coming years.
