Selhurst Park has been Crystal Palace's home since 1924, becoming one of south London's most recognisable football grounds during more than a century of history.
With a current capacity of 25,194, the stadium is preparing for a major transformation, with plans to increase its capacity beyond 34,000 through the redevelopment of the Main Stand.
Here, FootballGroundGuide looks at Selhurst Park through the numbers that tell its story.

Selhurst Park's history and redevelopment numbers
Selhurst Park was designed by renowned stadium architect Archibald Leitch and opened on 30th August 1924, when Palace lost 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday in front of 25,000 spectators.
The club's redevelopment plans centre on replacing the existing Main Stand, which currently accommodates approximately 5,200 supporters, with a three-tier structure designed to hold 13,500.
The new stand will include corporate facilities, a museum, improved accessibility and additional hospitality areas.
The wider project is intended to increase Selhurst Park's capacity beyond 34,000, adding approximately 9,000 seats.
However, rising construction costs have pushed the estimated bill beyond £200m, and the financing arrangements remain unresolved.
Demolition of six houses purchased for the scheme began in June 2026, but the project has yet to progress into full construction.
Selhurst Park ticket prices by the numbers
For the 2026/27 season, adult match tickets start at approximately £35, with prices varying according to fixture category and seat location. The average ticket costs around £65 for Category A matches and £50 for Category C fixtures.
Adult season tickets range from £600 to £770 following a price freeze, while standard adult membership costs £25.
Unlike several Premier League rivals, Palace have never sold the naming rights to their stadium, meaning the number of official naming-rights deals remains at zero.
With a record attendance exceeding 51,000 and plans to expand beyond 34,000 seats, Selhurst Park is preparing for its most significant transformation in decades while retaining the identity that has defined Palace's home since 1924.
