England fans at Wembley Stadium appeared ready to forgive Thomas Tuchel after another convincing UEFA Nations League A victory under the German.

The Three Lions made it three wins from three with a 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic, with Harry Kane scoring twice on his record-equalling 125th cap.

England fans back Thomas Tuchel after World Cup heartache

There was a clear show of support for Tuchel from England's hardcore Block 109 section during the comfortable victory.

Fans were heard chanting: “Football’s coming home again – with Thomas Tuchel”, suggesting the German has begun to win back supporters after a difficult start to his tenure.

Tuchel faced plenty of criticism after England's disappointing 2026 World Cup campaign in Atlanta, but the mood around the national team has shifted dramatically during the Nations League.

England had already beaten Czechia 2-0 in Prague and followed that with an emphatic 7-0 victory over Croatia before returning to Wembley and producing another controlled performance.

Kane opened his account when his cross was turned into his own net by Vladimir Coufal before the England captain added a close-range second from Morgan Rogers' delivery.

The Bayern Munich striker then completed his brace shortly after half-time, heading home from Lewis Hall's corner before receiving a standing ovation when he was substituted late on.

FGG says: Thomas Tuchel winning England fans back

The reaction at Wembley feels significant given how quickly the mood turned against Tuchel after the World Cup semi-final disappointment in Atlanta.

Three straight Nations League wins, 12 goals scored, and none conceded have provided exactly the response England needed, and supporters now appear willing to believe that Tuchel can lead them into the World Cup in a much better place.

There is still a long way to go, but the Wembley chant suggests the German is beginning to turn scepticism into genuine optimism again.
