Enzo Fernandez was given a hostile reception by Fulham supporters during Chelsea's opening Premier League game at Craven Cottage.
The Argentina midfielder was booed whenever he touched the ball before the Blues' travelling fans responded with their own show of support.

Fernandez came off the bench in the 65th minute and was immediately met with boos from the home supporters, who also repeatedly chanted “England” at the Chelsea midfielder.
The reception was linked to Argentina's controversial World Cup campaign this summer, with Fernandez and his international teammates having knocked England out in the semi-finals before members of the squad displayed banners referencing the Falkland Islands.
Argentina ultimately lost to Spain in the final, but the fallout from the tournament has clearly carried over into the new Premier League season.
Chelsea's travelling supporters responded by singing Fernandez's name, offering their backing to the 25-year-old during his first Premier League appearance since returning from the 2026 World Cup.
The reception comes with Fernandez's Chelsea future also under scrutiny, with Manchester City reportedly interested in the midfielder and Chelsea said to value him at around £140 million.
City manager Enzo Maresca is understood to be keen on a reunion with Fernandez, but the Blues are reluctant to strengthen a direct rival and would only consider a deal if they could adequately replace him.
