Scottish Premiership side Hibernian have banned the Block Seven supporter group from their next three fixtures following alleged incidents after the defeat to Dundee United.

The sanction comes as the club continues investigating the events at Tannadice Park and follows an earlier one-match ban for unacceptable conduct.

Hibs confirmed that Block Seven will be prohibited from attending the matches against Falkirk and Celtic at Easter Road, as well as the away fixture against St Mirren.

The club's initial investigation follows alleged clashes between members of the supporter group and stewards after the league defeat to Dundee United on Saturday 10th October.

Block Seven had already received a one-match ban earlier this season following incidents involving the unlawful use of pyrotechnics and what Hibs described as generally unacceptable conduct by individuals.

The latest three-match sanction has been discussed with the Scottish Professional Football League, while the investigation into the events at Tannadice remains ongoing.

Hibs are continuing to work with supporters, Police Scotland and Dundee United as they establish what happened.

The club has also confirmed that further action, including additional sanctions against individuals or the group collectively, could follow once the process is complete.

In a statement, the club stressed that the safety and wellbeing of supporters attending matches remained a priority, adding that nobody should feel unsafe or uncomfortable while supporting Hibernian.

The club also thanked fans for their continued backing and said it wanted to ensure unacceptable conduct did not undermine the experience of the wider support.

FGG says: Hibs must balance supporter culture with safety at Easter Road

The three-game ban sends a clear message that Hibs are taking the alleged incidents seriously, particularly after an earlier sanction involving pyrotechnics.

However, the investigation must establish the circumstances before any further punishment is considered.

Ultimately, Hibs need to protect the matchday experience for everyone while ensuring any additional sanctions are based on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
