Ollie Watkins has been a revelation for Aston Villa since signing for the club from Brentford in 2020, and he has hit double digits in terms of Premier League goals in every season he has been at the club so far.
Watkins has also become a regular in England squads since moving to Villa Park and famously scored a late winner against the Netherlands in the semi-finals of Euro 2024.
Considering he has been a goal machine for the club over the years, you'd imagine that the Villa fans would have a chant for him fitting of the moments he has given them.
Does Watkins have his own Aston Villa chant? And is it up to scratch? Let's take a look.
Ollie Watkins chant, lyrics and tune
The Ollie Watkins chant is sung to a generic football chant tune that is used by several clubs across the English football pyramid. The lyrics are as follows:
Du, du, du, du
Ollie Watkins
Du, du, du, du
Ollie Watkins

There isn't an awful lot to say about the Ollie Watkins chant, as it is one of the most common tunes used by football fans in English football whenever they can't think of anything more imaginative for a player.
It's also worth noting that England fans also adopted the Watkins chant in Germany during Euro 2024. After the final whistle of the Three Lions' semi-final triumph over the Netherlands, England fans remained in the stadium to serenade Watkins with the chant following his last-minute winner.
There were also calls at the time for Watkins to the start in the final against Spain over Harry Kane, but Gareth Southgate stuck with his captain.

FGG says: He deserves better
Considering how long he has been at Villa Park, it doesn't feel like an overreaction to say that Aston Villa supporters should have come up with something better for Watkins by now. He is one of their best-ever Premier League goalscorers and deserve more kudos for his consistency.
