Arsenal have strengthened their long-term financial position after confirming a new agreement with one of the club's longest-standing commercial partners.

The extended deal ensures Emirates will remain synonymous with both Arsenal's shirts and stadium well into the next decade.

Arsenal reveal long-term extension to Emirates sponsorship

Arsenal have confirmed a long-term renewal with Emirates that will keep the airline as the club's front-of-shirt sponsor, training kit partner and Emirates Stadium naming rights holder until 2033.

The agreement extends one of the longest-running commercial partnerships in English football, with Emirates having first joined forces with Arsenal 20 years ago.

The new deal also means the Emirates Stadium name will remain in place for at least another seven years.

Chief executive Richard Garlick described the renewal as arriving at a “pivotal moment” in Arsenal's history following their Premier League title triumph, adding that the partnership has played an integral role in the club's recent success.

Garlick said, via the club's official website: “Winning the title gives us the opportunity to be more ambitious and build on where we are today. Our renewal reflects a shared belief in Arsenal's future and a shared determination to keep moving forward.”

The agreement provides another significant commercial boost as Arsenal continue to invest heavily on and off the pitch.

This renewed partnership will also continue to support initiatives including the Emirates Cup, with Arsenal set to host Borussia Dortmund later this month before beginning their Premier League title defence.

FGG says: Arsenal continue to strengthen their position off the pitch

This is another major win for Arsenal away from the pitch.

Long-term commercial agreements like this are becoming increasingly important as clubs look to maximise revenues under football's financial regulations.

Securing a deal of this length provides the Gunners with valuable financial certainty while reinforcing one of the most recognisable stadium sponsorships in world football.

With Emirates remaining committed for years to come, Arsenal can continue planning major investments across both the first team and club infrastructure with the backing of a stable, long-term commercial partner.
