Following a disappointing night in Madrid in their first European away match of the season, Manchester United will now travel to Como for their third league phase match of the season.

The match is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 October and will take place at the modest yet stunning Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Man Utd have only been given an allocation of 730 tickets for the match, which meant only supporters who had been to eight or more European away matches over the last three seasons were eligble for a ticket.

If you are one of those lucky few, here is everything you need to know about the Como away end.

Where is the Como away section and what is it like?

Man Utd fans will be located in the Curva Monumento at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. This stand is located opposite the Curva Como, where the club's most passionate supporters are located. As a result, United fans will get the perfect view of what the Como Ultras are capable of, in terms of noise and displays.

The view of the pitch from the Curva Monumento is excellent. The stand is steep, which helps to make fans feel on top of the action and close to the pitch. One negative about the Como away end is the limited cover, which will be a huge problem if it's raining on the night.

How many Man Utd fans are going to Como?

Manchester United have been allocated 730 tickets for the match against Como. All of these tickets were sold quickly, with this match being the number one away day for all match-going United fans when the draw was made.

Due to the beauty of Como, there is a strong chance that more than 730 United fans will head over for matchday.

How to get to the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia

The stadium is easy to reach using public transport or on foot. From the city centre, visitors can walk towards the lakeside promenade, following signs for the stadium. The walk usually takes around 10–20 minutes, depending on the starting point, and offers lovely views of the lake along the way.

Alternatively, visitors can take a local bus operated by ASF Autolinee to the stadium. The nearest stop is Como–Recchi, which is just a short walk away. For the most convenient journey, fans should use Google Maps to plan their route from their exact location in Como city centre.
