For supporters planning to travel to watch Champions League football this season, it is worth knowing that the cost of a beer can vary considerably between stadiums. We have looked at the latest available data for the 2026-27 competition, with the above tables showing the prices that we have been able to verify.
The most expensive verified price is currently at Arsenal, with the cheapest pint at the Emirates Stadium costing £6.80. This is followed by Shakhtar Donetsk at £6.50, with the Ukrainian club currently playing their home matches at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge. Aston Villa (£6.10), Manchester City (£6.00) and Manchester United (£5.80) complete the top five.
At the other end of the scale, Real Madrid have the cheapest verified price, with a 500ml serving of non-alcoholic beer costing approximately £2.15 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Club Brugge have the next cheapest verified price at around £2.37, although this is for a 250ml serving, while Barcelona offer 500ml of non-alcoholic beer for approximately £2.75.
These prices are not necessarily directly comparable, as serving sizes vary between stadiums. Some clubs list prices for 400ml or 500ml servings rather than a pint, while several of the cheaper prices are for non-alcoholic beer as many European countries do not allow alcohol to be sold inside football grounds.
