The Sidemen Charity Match 2026 livestream on YouTube was scheduled to go live at 2:10 pm BST, straight from Wembley Stadium where YouTube All-Stars and Sidemen FC were about to play a charity football match.

More than 50,000 people were tuned in to the livestream even before the kickoff, waiting for the match to start. By the end of the stream, millions tuned in to watch the game live.

The match itself kicked off at 3:00 pm BST in front of a sold-out crowd of approximately 90,000 spectators at the iconic venue, a number that only a handful of real football matches could achieve.

How much money did the Sidemen Charity match raise?

As expected based on the early reports, this year’s Sidemen Charity match raised a record-breaking sum of money in donations – £6,218,875.

To put things into perspective, the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match raised around £4.7 million for three charities: BBC Children in Need, Bright Side, and M7 Education.

This year, the donation total had already hit an impressive £2,474,182 even before the match kicked off.

By half-time, the fundraiser had surged to £4,694,177, pretty much matching the entire amount raised in 2025.

Who will benefit from these donations?

The funds will be split between two Sidemen-associated charities: Bright Side and M7 Education.

Bright Side is charity focused on grant-giving for that wide range of charitable organisations and they will receive the majority of the donations, 86% of it.

Simon “Miniminter” Minter’s M7 Education is an organisation focused on providing quality education to underprivileged children and they will receive the rest, i.e. 14% of the total amount raised.

This record-breaking sum is expected to make a significant and lasting difference to the communities supported by both causes and, given this year's numbers, we can expect this event to grow even further in the future.

2026 Sidemen Charity match details

As we mentioned before, the match featured two teams – Sidemen FC and YouTube All-Stars. Some of the biggest content creators from the UK and beyond have joined the event, including KSI, Niko Omilana, LazarBeam, IShowSpeed, xQc, Sketch, and many more.

Like last year, the match ended in a stalemate, with the final score reading 10-10, after which the two teams participated in a penalty shootout.

Team YouTube All-Stars managed to secure the win after winning 4-1 on penalties.

Ever since watching the first Partizan game as a child, Vladimir was hooked to football, although his love for sports doesn't stop there as Vladimir also enjoys basketball and tennis, among other sports. That passion for different ball games led to his desire to write about sports in any capacity, which Vladimir has been doing for many years.
