Latest Camp Nou redevelopment footage shows big progress as one huge milestone edges closer

Barcelona's impressive Camp Nou redevelopment project continues to move closer to completion, with fresh construction footage revealing major progress across several parts of the stadium.

The latest update also suggests one of the redevelopment's biggest structural milestones is now within touching distance.

Camp Nou ring is nearly finished ahead of the new season

New footage from Spotify Camp Nou shows construction continuing at pace, with significant advances made on the stadium's exterior, mobility cores and the all-important compression ring.

At the Gol Sud end, brackets for the louvre support system have now been installed across most sections, while interior sandwich panels are complete.

Exterior cladding is expected to begin shortly as work shifts to the stadium's outer shell.

Elsewhere, stacks of louvres have been positioned around the mobility cores, indicating installation is imminent, while the diamond structures continue to take shape with floor slabs nearing completion and work progressing on the upper levels.

Similar progress is visible at the Gol Nord end, where mobility cores have received their final grey coating ahead of sandwich panel installation, with construction materials already in place for the corner sections.

The standout feature, however, remains the compression ring, which has advanced deep into another corner of the stadium.

Although it has not yet reached the nearby tower crane, the gap is closing rapidly.

Current estimates suggest the two sides of the ring could connect during August, with the full structural loop potentially completed by September – a landmark moment in the redevelopment of one of football's most famous venues.
