Changes ahead of the 2024/25 season
Leeds announced their season ticket prices for the 2024/25 season in March. This included a rise in prices for the second time in 11 years, which was unpopular with some sets of supporters. The Leeds Supporters' Trust said:
“Price rises are never welcomed, particularly during times of continued widespread economic pressure. Some fans will face larger increases than others as the club starts to level out season ticket legacy pricing, which aims to ensure that, in the future, no season ticket holder is paying more than the one sitting next to them.
“The club's consideration that increases are based on 2022/23 prices, rather than pre-rebate 2023/24 prices is welcomed, alongside new options for payment plans over the season. While we're disappointed to see some fans have rises of 12 per cent, we do acknowledge the club is still trying to respect the loyalty of the longest-standing season ticket holders, allowing them to pay the lowest amount for a match ticket over the next few seasons.
“The club have actively engaged with a variety of different fan groups ahead of today’s announcement which is a step in the right direction and we acknowledge that some, if not all, of the feedback was taken on board.”
Other changes included that season ticket holders must attend at least 80 per cent of matches in the 2024/25 campaign to qualify for renewal in the season after. Attendance doesn't have to be registered season ticket holder, though. It also includes the attendance of a friend or a relative using the club's ticket forwarding scheme, or when a season ticket holder puts their seat on the ticket exchange for release.
In a club statement, Leeds said: “The introduction of this attendance condition has proved successful at other clubs, ensuring as many supporters as possible get to see the team while encouraging fans to monetise matches they cannot attend, making season tickets more affordable.”
Leeds United matchday tickets and single-match tickets: pricing & availability
Single-match tickets are often the best way to attend a game if you are not lucky enough to currently possess a season ticket at Elland Road.
In terms of pricing, Leeds split their pricing structure for matchday tickets into two separate categories based on the level of the fixture. For Category B games, adult prices range from £32-£45, while for Category A games, this figure rises to £35-£47.
The club offer a six-phase system to ensure a fair distribution of tickets, which starts with general admission tickets being sold to ‘My Leeds Members', before allowing unsuccessful applicants to enter an online ballot, and ends with ‘Ticket Forwarding', which allows fans to send their ticket to other supporters.

To join this waiting list, you must pay a fee of £11, and once you have successfully been offered a season ticket, you will then gain access to the club's seating plan section and can purchase it from there.

In most cases, the answer to that question is yes, although non-members will occasionally have access to tickets for low-demand cup fixtures.
The club offer two membership options – the first being known as a ‘My Leeds Membership' account while the other is a ‘My Leeds Plus Membership' account. The latter has priority over the former regarding ticket purchases.
How to get a Leeds United membership
Acquiring a membership at Elland Road is relatively straightforward and can be done throughout the season. Accessed via the club's website, fans can purchase either of the two membership types to gain access to Leeds tickets.
The standard adult membership will set you back £50, while the plus membership will cost an adult £65. A £1.50 fee will be applied to both prices upon purchase.
Leeds United ticket prices at Elland Road
Leeds tickets do fall on the more expensive end of the Championship spectrum, although that is perhaps to be expected given the club's Premier League status until very recently.
With that being said, the price of a matchday ticket does vary and greatly depends on what section of Elland Road you wish to sit. As in all cases, the family stand is the cheapest option, while the North and South Stands, as well as the Upper Tier of the East Stand, offer a mid-price experience.
Finally, tickets for all other sections of the East Stand, and the entirety of the West Stand, will demand the highest fee. However, ticket prices, and the structure of those prices, do change season-on-season so we always recommend consulting the club's official website.
