Manchester United had a Premier League season to forget in 2024/25, finishing in 15th position, just three places above the relegation zone.
While Ruben Amorim's job was always going to be safe, there is an expectation for him and his team to hit the ground running in 2025/26 if he wants to remain at Old Trafford long term.
Therefore, this pre-season feels more important than usual for the Red Devils. Amorim will take his squad to two different countries for four friendly matches before returning to Manchester for one final warm-up match before the Premier League begins in the middle of August.

Man Utd tickets in Sweden
Man Utd's first pre-season match this summer is against Leeds United at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Both clubs have a large fan base in Scandinavia, which could result in the match being played in an atypical friendly atmosphere.
Both clubs have been allocated an end of the stadium, and there are now only a small number of tickets available in the Man Utd section. Prices for this match start at 525KR (£40), and the most expensive are being sold for 2532KR (£190).

Man Utd tickets in the USA
The main bulk of Man Utd's pre-season will take place in the United States at the end of July and the beginning of August. The Red Devils will take on three different Premier League teams in the USA in three different American cities. The fixtures are as follows:
- 26/07/2025: Man Utd vs West Ham (MetLife Stadium, New Jersey)
- 30/07/2025: Man Utd vs Bournemouth (Soldier Field, Chicago)
- 03/08/2025: Man Utd vs Everton (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta)
Tickets for all three matches are now on sale and can be purchased through the Premier League Summer Series website. The cheapest ticket across these three matches is $47 for the match against Everton, while the most expensive ticket listed is for the match against West Ham at a whopping $730.
