On Thursday, 23 January, Manchester United will take on Rangers at Old Trafford as part of the penultimate round of Europa League league phase fixtures.
Both clubs are on track to make it through the league phase but whoever comes out on top on Thursday will have a brilliant chance of finishing inside the top eight and qualifying for the Round of 16.
The importance of the fixture in terms of points only makes this a bigger match than it already was. Battles between Scottish and English teams in Europe are usually high-octane affairs and the demand for tickets is usually through the roof.

PSG vs Man City tickets: Buying guide
Home tickets
The majority of tickets for this match in the home sections have gone automatically to season ticket holders who opted into the Europa League cup scheme. All remaining tickets went on sale to official members and there are still tickets available.
The tickets on sale range from £32 to £72 for adults and due to concerns around Rangers fans buying tickets in the home end, fans are required to have had their membership prior to the draw taking place at the beginning of the season.
It isn't anticipated that the match will go to general sale so if you don't have a Man Utd membership then you are going to struggle to get home tickets for this match.
Away tickets
Rangers have been allocated 3,768 tickets for the match against Man Utd and all of these sold out very quickly with the supporters with the most loyalty points being given priority access. It is anticipated that more Rangers fans will head south to Manchester for the match, especially as a large Rangers fan zone is being set up in Trafford Park next to the stadium.
The Man Utd away section is in the South-East corner of the stadium and the view from the pitch here is excellent. Additionally, the low-hanging roof of the South Stand makes the acoustics perfect for generating a loud atmosphere.
Hospitality
There are six hospitality options still on sale for the match. They are as follows:
- A padded seat anywhere in the stadium – £99
- A padded seat in the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand – £125
- Victoria Warehouse package – £169
- The Trinity Club – £225
- Museum pre-match package – £199
- Warwick private box – £1250pp
For more information on the hospitality options at Old Trafford, check out the hospitality section of the club's website.
Please note, tickets for Manchester United away are digital, and will be sent out next week ahead of the match. These must be downloaded to a mobile wallet. More supporter information regarding this fixture will be shared in due course.

Man Utd vs Rangers tickets: Alternative options
If you aren't a Man Utd member then all hope isn't lost as there is an alternative way to get tickets for Man Utd vs Rangers but it does come with a couple of caveats. This method involves using a third-party ticket resale website to secure tickets but choosing the right website is crucial.
We recently reviewed two of the best ticket resale websites, as seen below.
Even though these are two reliable websites, there are still a couple of downsides. For starters, prices are nearly always more than face value and secondly, you aren't afforded the same security on your tickets that you would if you purchased directly through the club.
Seatpick are currently listing Man Utd vs Rangers tickets with prices starting at £66.
