Forest have announced that safe standing will be introduced at the City Ground, with “work set to commence in the summer months in time for the start of the 2024/25 season”. The club believe that this is an important step in their overall mission to improve the matchday experience for fans and maintain the passionate atmosphere on Trentside.

The plans involve the installation of approximately 2,300 safe standing spaces for home fans in the Bridgford Stand, Blocks U1 and U2, and Lower Bridgford Stand Block Z. Meanwhile, safe standing for away fans will be in the Lower Bridgford Stand Block W.
