Luton Town's new Power Court stadium remains a hive of construction activity, but the latest update has highlighted further delays and a lack of visible progress in certain areas.
The club is understood to be approximately one month behind schedule, although the target of opening for the 2028-29 season remains in place.
Why has there been a delay at Power Court recently?
The latest construction footage shows continued work across the site, with the West Stand making the most noticeable progress.
Concrete work has advanced significantly on the most complex structure, including the pouring of a balcony level, while the South Stand is expanding towards the corner sections as preparations continue for its second floor.
The East Stand is also beginning to emerge above ground level following the completion of piling during the summer, although foundation and sub-floor work remain the main focus.
However, there has been little visible movement in the installation of precast concrete terracing since the first sections arrived last week.
The supply of these components is understood to be a contributing factor, with the same company also providing concrete beams for HS2's Curzon Street Station project.
There is still plenty happening behind the scenes, including rebar installation, foundation work and the positioning of large rainwater storage tanks. A crawler crane is also operating on site while the two planned tower cranes remain absent.
However, the limited progress on the eastern and northern sides has prompted some frustration among supporters hoping to see a more substantial transformation by this stage.
FGG says: Luton Town will hope to see Power Court get back on track soon
There is no need for panic just yet, with the 2028-29 opening target still some distance away and significant structural work taking place across the site.
However, supporters will understandably want to see more visible progress, particularly after the project has already fallen around a month behind schedule.
The West and South Stands are beginning to take shape, but the quieter areas around the East and North Stands remain a reminder of how much work is still required.
Luton fans will be hoping the supply issues are resolved quickly and construction accelerates, allowing Power Court to progress more quickly than it has in recent weeks.
