PSG Ultras unveil Star Wars tifo ahead of Barcelona tie

Ahead of the UEFA Champions League first leg at the Parc des Princes, PSG Ultras unveiled a Star Wars tifo.

Yoda and Darth Vader were displayed in two huge tifos prior to the match between PSG and Barcelona with messages in support of the Parisian team.

PSG Ultras display Star Wars tifo

Before the match began, PSG fans unveiled a tifo of Darth Vader depicted with a Barcelona scarf. With the theme tune of Star Wars ringing around the stadium, the message at the bottom of the stand read, “Fight the enemy, you must.”

Shortly after this, a huge display of Yoda with a red and blue lightsaber was unveiled, with ‘VA 91’ on either side of the fictional figure. VA 91 is a reference to the birth of Virage Auteuil in 1991, which was one of the first PSG ultras groups to form. Below this display read, “Win! For us you must.”

@InvictosSomos on X.com (formerly Twitter) posted, “The tifo of the PSG fans for the match against FC Barcelona in Paris. Darth Vader being from Barca and the Parisians being represented by Yoda. EPIC!
