Pubs near Anfield: Where to get a pre-match pint in Liverpool

Liverpool seem to have recovered from their shocking run of nine losses in 12 matches between late September and late November, and are now six-games unbeaten across all competitions ahead of this weekend's clash.

The Reds are set to host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on Saturday, hoping to build on their 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

This game also marks the first time that Liverpool have faced Wolves since the tragic passing of Diogo Jota in the summer of 2025, and the forward's former clubs will pay tribute to the number 20 and his brother Andre Silva, who also lost his life.

Fans of both teams are likely to be feeling somewhat emotional given the circumstances surrounding the contest, and many supporters will be sharing memories over a pre-match drink.

Here, Football Ground Guide answers the question: Where can I get a pint near Anfield? Read on to find out.
