While not as notable as the likes of Ajax and Feyenoord, FC Utrecht ultras are some of the most fierce in the Netherlands.
On Sunday afternoon, following their 2-0 loss at Ajax, we got to see again exactly why that is.

FC Utrecht fans involved in brawl with police
A video, posted on X by @thecasualultra, showed around 100 Utrecht fans involved in a confrontation with Amsterdam police.
On a bridge, apparently outside the Johan Cruyff Arena, the group surge forward to try and attack the police officers. Some throw punches, and others throw plastic cups.
The police, vastly outnumbered, are pictured retreating and helping each other tend to injuries.
Eventually, eight police officers arrive on horseback to disperse the crowd. The Utrecht fans, keen to get out of the way of the horses, retreat and the situation appears to return to normal.
It is not yet known if any serious injuries were sustained in the incident.
