Exeter City supporters topped the League Two away travel rankings in October, covering approximately 549 miles across three away fixtures.

The Grecians travelled to Shrewsbury Town, Colchester United and Salford City, with the trip to Colchester proving their longest at approximately 209 miles one way.

They won 1-0 at Shrewsbury, drew 0-0 at Colchester and lost 2-1 at league leaders Salford, while remaining unbeaten in all five of their home matches in October to sit one point outside the playoff places.

Gillingham fans ranked second in October, accumulating around 535 miles across their three trips on the road.

Their longest journey was to Accrington Stanley, at around 206 miles, while the trip to Rotherham United added another 163 miles to their total.

Recently relegated Rotherham United ranked third, with supporters travelling approximately 415 miles.

Their longest journey was to Exeter City, covering 209 miles, while Barnet and Fleetwood Town completed the top five with 413 and 407 miles travelled respectively.

Accrington Stanley fans travelled the shortest distance in October

The Reds visited Oldham Athletic, York City and Rochdale, with the journey to Yorkshire accounting for 54 miles, while their shortest trip was to Rochdale at just 13 miles.

Rochdale supporters recorded the second-lowest total, travelling around 116 miles.

Oldham Athletic ranked 22nd, with supporters travelling approximately 226 miles, followed by Port Vale on 241 miles and Swindon Town on 248.
