Given that there's a huge online battle between betting companies, with many trying to gain the upper hand in the competition, CopyBet has meticulously chosen many vital areas where they can attempt to match or even better the other competition in the UK market. There are over two dozen sports available to bet on, and you can access the markets across the desktop and mobile app – let's dive in and take a closer look at what they have in store.
The football betting markets outlined
Any sportsbook that hasn't opened up its doors to the football betting market will have a tough time in the UK. To say that sports fans in the UK enjoy football would be the understatement of the century, and given the significant gambling culture, there's a vast potential market for those platforms that can get it right.
Situated at the top of the left-hand column on the main site, the drop-down reveals countries by country first, in alphabetical order. You can choose from a staggering 52 nations. For UK bettors who prefer to stick to English or Scottish football, you can bet on:
- Premier League
- Championship
- League One & Two
- All Domestic Cups
Breaking down these markets individually, there's an ocean of potential markets, both in-play and pre-game. For those bettors looking for an outright market, there's the Golden Boot, Top 4, or relegation candidates to select from. If you prefer the ups and downs of in-play betting, there are several markets to sink your teeth into. Including, but not limited to:
- Draw No Bet – you bet on a team to win but receive your stake back if the game ends in a stalemate.
- Double Chance – covering one team and the draw as part of the same bet.
- Handicap – choosing +3 or -3 means that the team has to win/lose by that margin for your bet to succeed.
- Total Goals – the combined goals between both teams throughout the game.
- Half Time/Full Time – betting on the outcome at the halfway interval and the final result.
Other markets are more self-explanatory, such as the number of yellow cards or betting on the final result. While you'd think this should be a basic requirement for any sports betting platform looking to hit the big time and challenge the prominent names in the industry, you'd be surprised at how many miss out on some of these key derivative markets.
Our CopyBet review isn't our first rodeo, and the impressive football betting selection is accompanied by fantastic accumulator cash-out options and specific welcome promotions, which we will detail further down this page.
Betting beyond football – Horse racing, the NFL, and boxing
Horse racing?
As another popular market in the UK, some of the biggest days for the sportsbooks are the likes of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Grand National. Both of these markets you'll find with no problem at CopyBet and even just taking a glance at the horse racing markets as we conduct our CopyBet review, there are 15 active races today alone, mid-week, that you can bet on, so it's another boxed ticked when it comes to quality and choice.
Betting on the Cheltenham Festival 2024
For the upcoming Cheltenham Festival, CopyBet is set to feature its inaugural complete array of betting markets.
Every race, including the Supreme Novices Hurdle, the Champion Chase, the Stayers Hurdle, and the Cheltenham Gold Cup, already has betting markets available.
You can take advantage of the CopyBet welcome offer to bet on any Cheltenham Festival race, with popular contenders like Galopin Des Champs, Allaho, and Constitution Hill.
Copybet's Cheltenham racing odds
At CopyBet, horse racing enthusiasts can enjoy the assurance of the Best Odds Guaranteed and an Extra Places Offer across UK races, including each day of the prestigious Cheltenham Festival.
Elevating the appeal of horse race betting, their promotion guarantees optimal payouts by matching the highest odds. If the starting price exceeds the betting price, they honour the greater of the two upon player victory.
American sports?
Throughout the 21st century, there's been a sharp incline in the number of UK sports fans seeking out NBA, NFL, and NHL games, so much so that multiple NFL games have taken place in the UK, such is the increasing popularity of the sport.
Although a CopyBet review United Kingdom customers might explore may have a different emphasis to a US-base, the entwining nation of their sporting culture is proving to be hugely popular for bettors, who can explore NBA, NHL, and NFL playoff and outright markets, as well as a multitude of in-play options to consider.
Combat sports?
Boxing and MMA attract millions of fans across the UK. Although the time difference often means the big Vegas fight nights occur at ungodly hours, this doesn't detract or put off those who like to place wagers on the significant bouts.
Boxing fans can explore group round betting, bet builders that stretch across both types of combat sports, where you can bet on under X amount of rounds, or the method of victory, whether it is a knockout, technical knockout, or a points decision.
The best of the rest at CopyBet
We don't want to take up too much of your time detailing every corner of CopyBet's service, but we hope you've got an indication of how many betting markets they offer. In addition to the most popular markets we've covered, there's tennis, volleyball, rugby league and union, ice hockey, darts and snooker, and many more.
Betting on Entertainment & Social events
Perhaps the most noticeable downside of CopyBet’s service is that they do not offer casino gaming. While that’s not necessarily the first thing you look for in a sportsbook, all other big competitors have their own digital casino or a sister company that customers can check out.
However, why bother with a casino if you only want to place a sports bet? It’s not necessarily a downside. The whole foundation of CopyBet is sports betting, so you can copy the tipsters and the experts – so it might be counterproductive for them to spend resources and time creating a casino site. With that said, there are still several quirky, miscellaneous markets that you can check out.
TV shows & movies?
Our CopyBet review 2025 took us right into the crevices of the site, and some of their alternate markets highlight the scope of what’s on display. For Dancing On Ice fans, you can check out the latest outright winner odds and even have a flutter. Depending on the current show that’s on, you’ll often find a market on CopyBet.
Whether it is Britain’s Got Talent, Eurovision, or I’m A Celeb. Likewise, there’s a separate tab on the app and website to bet on the Oscars, the BAFTAs, or BBC Sports Personality Of The Year, so depending on the time of year you encounter this CopyBet review 2025, you should find a market for the big TV finals.
Politics?️
If politics is your thing, then CopyBet is more than happy to oblige and facilitate your gambling needs. With an election anticipated in the UK within the next twelve months, these miscellaneous markets are heating up. Still, you can also bet on Irish and American politics if you’re more drawn to the international scene.
Tipsters tab – the standout of our CopyBet review in January 2025
For a site to call itself CopyBet without its unique page and tab where you can find an extensive list of expert opinions wouldn’t be the best PR. However, even we were taken aback by just how detailed this section of their service is.
As you can see in the screenshot below, each tipster is ranked by their profit margin, the number of bets they’ve placed, and the average amount. Although there’s no guaranteed science behind making profits in sports betting, some bettors find better comfort in following the betting guides of people who spend copious amounts of time reading up and finding potential market value.

How to join CopyBet in 2 minutes
Registering with the site was one of the simplest parts of our CopyBet review. At the same time, it’s rare to come across a casino or sports betting company that doesn’t make this process painfully easy; we had registered and were betting with CopyBet quickly and efficiently, using a promo code, with zero problems. You can register just as quickly on their site as you can on the mobile app. We’ve detailed the process for you below as part of our comprehensive CopyBet review so that you can get an idea of how it works.
Register on your desktop, step-by-step
- Step 1 – Go to the main website and select the yellow “sign up” box in the top right-hand corner, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Step 2 – You’ll then be presented with the below screen, where you can either sign up with your saved Google account or iCloud information or enter your e-mail manually. Also, remember to let them know you’re not a robot and read through the terms and conditions before moving on to the next section.
- Step 3 – Your account is open once you have entered this information. As detailed in the subsequent screenshot, you can verify your profile using your driver's license in a few minutes. All of the welcome bonuses are on the left-hand side, and the deposit and withdrawal options are in the middle of the screen.
The app registration process (with iOS examples)
- Step 1—The first part of the process is to go to the Play Store or App Store (pictured below) and search for CopyBet. It’ll be the top-featured search. Select download. Once downloaded, after a few seconds, you can select open to bring it up on your mobile device.
- Step 2—You’ll then see the main landing page. Select “sign up” in the yellow box on the right-hand side.
- Step 3 – Sign up with your chosen e-mail and password, tick the box once you have read the terms and conditions, and select the box underneath.
- Step 4 – Set up a 4-digit passcode or Face ID – we set up both in less than 30 seconds.
- Step 5 – Once you have fully verified your ID, you can select your profile and features by selecting the main icon in the top right corner, depositing, and adding to your betting slip.
How do you deposit and withdraw on CopyBet?
Other than the quality of customer service and gaming range, another vital component to ensure the overall quality of a sports betting site is the deposit and withdrawal offers on display. This doesn’t mean they should have every deposit and withdrawal method under the sun, but it’s good to have maybe a handful or half a dozen reputable ways to withdraw or deposit your cash.
Despite the emergence of Google and Apple Pay, both viable payment methods on CopyBet, you can use the ever-reliable VISA or MasterCard alongside more modern digital-only methods like Skrill and Neteller.
What is the Desktop Interface like with CopyBet?
Once registered on the CopyBet site, you’ll have the main landing page to navigate through hundreds of markets. The font is big and clear, and the colour scheme helps sell the site's aesthetic.
Although it’s vivid and lucid, it isn’t abrasive. As we have already discussed, the main downside of the service is the lack of alternative betting options, with no casino gaming on the site. Other prominent competition has made it their mission to appeal to bettors who enjoy a flutter in the casino and sports betting, and you can’t help but think CopyBet is missing a trick and potential revenue by ignoring this.
In terms of usability, CopyBet follows a similar path to the likes of Bet365, and when you select a market, it opens up an entirely new window. While this might sound like a basic requirement, many sites don’t do this, and if you’re exploring multiple sports or markets, it helps to compartmentalise your approach and not have to click forward and back to find the same bets.
Overall, the site layout is ideal; it eliminates unnecessary jargon and information you can find on other sports betting sites. The sections labeled Betting Tips and Tipsters at the top of the home page could be fused into one. They seem pointless as separate pages, but this is a minor issue.
The main fundamentals of site navigation, placing your bet, and speaking to customer support if necessary are all top-notch. If CopyBet decides to add casino gaming or finetune small elements of their site, there wouldn’t be any problems on the website or desktop version of their service.
Reviewing the app interface – a slick, albeit cramped feel
My initial thoughts on the app were positive; it had a slick design, and the transition between individual tabs and pages gave it a solid feel. Registration on the app is easier than it is on the desktop interface. Although the app is well designed, the main home page feels slightly cramped; it’s just an exhaustive list of sports betting markets. While that might be straight to the point and a no-nonsense approach that some bettors prefer, it doesn’t help with the overall aesthetic.
The clock in the top left-hand corner is an excellent touch. It helps you keep an eye on how much time you’ve spent on the app and helps you adhere to responsible gambling protocol. Undeniably, one of the better stand-out features we encountered during this CopyBet review.
While the app could be better laid out to give off a roomier feel, we appreciate there’s not the same type of space you’d be working with on a desktop interface. Although there are a few minor setbacks, it is a great design, which CopyBet has spent meticulous time piecing together.
Highlights & what can be improved
High-quality, deep derivative markets within each sport, and not thinly spread. |
No casino gaming. |
Multiple welcome bonuses, instead of focussing on one game or sport. |
Limited football markets in smaller leagues, especially in comparison to the serious competition. |
Site aesthetic doesn’t colour clash - which is a criticism often levelled at some competitions like Paddy Power and Ladbrokes. |
Verification may take longer if you don’t have a driver’s license. |
High levels of customer service, the live chat time is quick, professional, and responsive, resolving our queries within a few minutes. |
Has a much smaller number of deposit and withdrawal methods. While there’s plenty to choose from, some big names in the industry have doubled the amount. |
Registering for the service is one of the easiest processes we’ve encountered - if you have a driver’s license, you can be verified in less than an hour. |
Not as visible to the UK market, unlike bigger brands with key sponsorships with major networks. |
Growing brand, onboarding huge names like Shay Given, and forming partnerships with big professional clubs like QPR. It helps to drive home the reputation of the company and service. |
CopyBet Reviewed: Our Final Thoughts
We’re not in the business of beating around the bush, nor is there an ulterior motive for us to wax lyrical in our CopyBet review 2025. Our table below whittles down the positives and negatives. In short, no betting provider is perfect, and while some might do certain things better than others, there’s always room for improvement, and the same applies to CopyBet.
Despite minor latency issues on the app, we looked at some of the other reviews and could see that plenty of other people didn’t experience this issue. So, for this one, I’ll blame my WiFi and give CopyBet the benefit of the doubt.
The undoubted high points are the ease of registering for the service, their multiple betting offers, and their desire to match punters with people who genuinely know what they’re talking about. In an industry where many companies couldn’t care less about how informed your opinion is, it’s refreshing that CopyBet has based its entire foundation on this model.
Given that they do many of the other basics on a more than competent level, our CopyBet review has been an overall positive experience. Ranging from great customer service to a plethora of solid sports betting markets, we’d give them a solid 8/10.
