Dortmund vs Celtic tickets – a full guide
Tickets in the home end
Dortmund announced on 19 September that additional tickets were available for their home match against Celtic. In a club statement, they said: “UEFA have not used up all the places in their ticket contingent for the Champions League home game against Celtic (Tuesday 01/10, 21:00 CEST). The remaining tickets will be available via the BVB Ticket Shop from 12:00 CEST on Friday (20/09).
“Club members who have not yet exercised their right of first refusal can purchase up to two tickets via the Online Ticket Shop.”
Tickets in the home end have now sold out, but the German club do offer a second market for fans to purchase a seat inside the ground at fair prices. For games that season ticket holders cannot attend, they can list their seat on the secondary market for club members to buy. You can read more about the Dortmund second market for buyers here.
Tickets in the away end
Celtic fans will be located in the Nord Tribune, which is in the stand opposite the ‘Yellow Wall’ – the largest single-tiered stand in European football. The Scottish giants have been given an allocation of 3,800, which has now sold out.
Celtic have asked fans to contact [email protected] or tweet @celticfctickets on X.com for general enquiries about the eagerly anticipated European fixture. You can also read an extensive guide for Celtic fans in Dortmund.
Dortmund vs Celtic ticket prices – £16 in some areas of away end
Celtic fans were full of praise for Dortmund’s ticket pricing for the upcoming Champions League match. Some tickets in the standing area of the away end cost £16 for Celtic supporters, reflecting German football’s aim to ensure that watching matches live remains affordable. Meanwhile, tickets cost around £40 for the seating areas at the away end.
This contrasts Celtic, who charged their home fans over £50 for the first European match of the 2024/25 campaign against Slovan Bratislava. As well as this, it was for £25 for a ticket at Celtic Park for the club’s Scottish League Cup match against Falkirk on Sunday.
