Arsenal fans have wasted no time in concocting a new Eberechi Eze chant following the winger's decision to join the Gunners from Crystal Palace.
The England international at one stage seemed destined to end up on the other side of North London, with Tottenham Hotspur thought to be on the verge of agreeing a deal before bitter rivals Arsenal stepped in at the 11th hour to hijack the transfer.
A boyhood fan of the Gunners and a member of their academy until being released at the age of 13, Eze was introduced to the supporters ahead of their first home game – against Leeds United – of the 2025-26 season at the Emirates Stadium.
The home crowd quickly greeted their new man with a familiar-sounding chant too, poking fun at Tottenham's pain as well as singing about their gain.
This chant takes heavy inspiration from Michael Buble’s song “Sway” and is expected to grow even more popular among fans in the coming days.
Since making his Arsenal debut in a 1-0 loss to Liverpool, Eze has gone on to make a number of impressive performances for his side.
The former Palace star scored his first goal for the Gunners in their Carabao Cup victory over Port Vale, while he also provided assists against Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
In this article, we look at the full lyrics of Eberechi Eze's song, which is set to immediately become one of the most popular Arsenal chants.

Eberechi Eze chant lyrics and tune
Eze's chant is sung to the tune of ‘Sway' by Dean Martin, with the following lyrics:
“We can hear them crying at the Lane,
Ebere Eze, he scores again,
One call with Mik Arteta he said ‘wow',
F**k off Tottenham, I’m a Gooner now!”

It's not exactly the most original of chants – in fact, it's almost a word-for-word copy of Liverpool's Federico Chiesa song – but Arsenal fans won't really care. Indeed, the idea of it winding a few Liverpool fans up for its lack of originality is probably a bonus.
Catchy chants rarely remain the domain of one club for long nowadays, and Arsenal are not the first or last to fit this tune around one of their players; it's the latest song sweeping through stadiums up and down the country right now.
Throw in the opportunity to poke fun at Spurs too, and this makes it a pretty perfect chant for Gooners.
It became one of the most popular chants among Liverpool fans last season despite Chiesa barely featuring, so if Eze hits the ground running in the red half of North London then expect to hear this song a lot over the coming months.
