Enzo Fernandez joined Manchester City from Chelsea this summer in a joint-British record £125 million deal, becoming one of the most expensive players in football history.
The Argentina international had spent the previous three-and-a-half years at Chelsea after joining the Blues from Benfica for a then-British record £107m in January 2023.

Fernandez's arrival at the Etihad had already generated plenty of discussion given the size of the transfer fee, with City paying £125m to prise him away from Chelsea.
That has naturally added an extra edge to the chant, with the “He's in your head” line appearing to be aimed at those Chelsea supporters and other fans who have taken issue with the Argentina international.
Fernandez's performance against Porto will only have made the song more enjoyable for the City faithful.
The midfielder linked up impressively with Bouaddi, while his delivery for Haaland's opening goal demonstrated the quality that City believe makes him worth such a significant investment.
