Nottingham Forest will begin their 2025/26 European adventure on Wednesday, 24 September, when they travel to Spain to take on Real Betis.
Forest were originally meant to be playing in the Europa Conference League this season, but after Crystal Palace were demoted to that competition due to issues around their ownership, the Tricky Trees effectively leapfrogged them into the Europa League.
It's the first time in nearly 30 years that Nottingham Forest have competed in Europe, so for a whole generation of supporters, this will be their first time following the club away in Europe.

Away end
Nottingham Forest can have no complaints about the allocation they have received for their first European away match of the season, with Real Betis giving the club 3,385 tickets. The ticket sales process started on Thursday, 11 September and is still ongoing.
The club initially opened up a window for Season card holders who have opted into the Away Ticket Scheme at the Priority Plus or Priority One tier. This was on Thursday, 11 September, and since then, the club have been accepting applications for a ballot from Season card holders who have opted into the Away Ticket Scheme continuously since the 2022/23 season.
Those successful in the ballot have until 12pm UK time on Monday, 15 September to purchase tickets for the match.
If any tickets remain after this deadline, the club will open up tickets to the following supporters:
- 15/09/25 (12pm): Second sale for supporters in the Away Ticket Scheme
- 15/09/25 (2pm): All Season Card Holders
- 15/09/25 (4pm): All MyForest Member
All tickets for the match in the away section are priced at just £17.30
Home end
At the time of writing, there are no Real Betis vs Nottingham Forest tickets available in the home sections of the stadium. It is often common practice for European clubs to also put a block on fans buying tickets from the United Kingdom when they are facing a British club, so any chance of buying tickets in the home end as a Nottingham Forest fan is slim.

Nottingham Forest are offering their supporters a ‘premium' travel experience for the match against Real Betis. This trip includes same-day return flights from East Midlands Airport, private coach transfers to and from the stadium, a pre-match meal and a guaranteed ticket in the away end.

Alternative options
