Manchester City's Etihad Stadium redevelopment continues to take shape, with fresh aerial footage revealing further activity around the expanding stadium campus.
The latest update comes just days before the club opens its biggest-ever City Store, marking another milestone in the wider transformation.
Man City fans get fresh aerial look at Etihad progress
Footage filmed on Tuesday 3rd November provides a look at the latest developments around the Etihad Stadium, with particular attention on Medlock Square.
The new three-storey City Store is scheduled to open on Thursday 5th November, while ground preparation continues across the surrounding square, with an exclusive number of fans able to experience the new fanzone before watching a screening of the RB Leipzig match the night before.
Recent work includes trenching, protective sheeting and the installation of gravel and soil, with the area appearing noticeably tidier as construction progresses.
New screen panels have also arrived on site, although installation work had not yet begun at the time of filming.
Elsewhere, the footage captures further details of the expanding stadium campus, including exterior lighting around the new hotel and office buildings.
Built-in lighting along the upper sections of the office walls is now visible, while the hotel landscaping features illuminated planters that add to the appearance of the developing area.
There has also been movement around the stadium roof, with a previous Halloween-themed display now removed.
Despite City being away from home, the Etihad's pitch lighting remains operational as ground staff continue preparing the playing surface for upcoming fixtures.
The latest footage provides another indication of how the redevelopment is extending beyond the stadium itself, with Medlock Square becoming an increasingly important part of the club's plans.
FGG says: Medlock Square is becoming a major part of the Etihad experience
The opening of the new City Store is an important milestone, but the wider development around Medlock Square is arguably just as significant.
City are creating a destination that offers supporters more to see and do before and after matches, rather than focusing exclusively on the stadium itself.
With further screens, retail facilities, hospitality and landscaping taking shape, the Etihad campus is becoming a much more complete experience for visitors.
