England fans may already be counting down the days until the start of the 2026 World Cup, but there are still a few things that Thomas Tuchel needs to tick off before he leads the Three Lions out at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on 17 June.
England's first match of the tournament will be against the nation that knocked them out of the semi-finals in 2018, Croatia. While that match is England's toughest on paper in the group stages, Tuchel doesn't want his players to be focused solely on the Croats over the next six months.
As a result, two World Cup warm-up matches have been pencilled in for March at Wembley Stadium. England will take on Uruguay on 26 March before facing Japan on 31 March. If you want to buy tickets for either match, here is everything you need to know.

England have a legitimate shot at winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but they won't be able to do it without the backing of England supporters. Getting over the USA, Canada and Mexico for the tournament is unaffordable for a lot of fans, but attending these matches at Wembley would mean a lot to the manager and players.
