Manchester United will take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, 31 October, with Michael Carrick's job hanging by a thread.
The support of the United faithful at Old Trafford has perhaps given Carrick a stay of execution, but another bad defeat this weekend could seal his fate.
The travelling Reds are expected to give Carrick their full backing regardless, but they would love to see their team win considering they will be up bright and early for the journey down south ahead of the lunchtime kick-off.
Below, we take a look at how much the trip is going to cost the average Man Utd fan.
Chelsea vs Man Utd away day cost breakdown
The biggest expense for Man Utd's away supporters this weekend is the travel. Getting from Manchester to London is never cheap, regardless of whether you drive, pay for a supporters' coach or get a train. The higher cost of living in London will also sting supporters who enjoy a pre-match drink or two.
Our calculations indicate the average Man Utd fan will pay £261.20 for Chelsea away on Saturday (if staying over) and £151.20 if completing the trip in a day.

Food/drink
The worst thing about the early kick-off is that United fans won't have much time for socialising pre-match. The good thing about this, though, is that they won't spend much money. There will likely only be enough time for two or three pints and a hot dog, which still costs around £30 in London.
