Tottenham Hotspur will travel north to take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday 7th November, with Roberto De Zerbi's side kicking off at 12:30pm (GMT).

The Lilywhites' faithful face a lengthy journey from north London to west Yorkshire, with the quickest direct train taking just over two hours between London King's Cross and Leeds.

The lunchtime kick-off means an early start for travelling supporters, although those able to reach King's Cross in time should be able to complete the journey there and back on Saturday without paying for overnight accommodation.

The latest acceptable departure from King's Cross is 9:10am, with the scheduled arrival in Leeds at 11:21am, leaving just over an hour to reach Elland Road before kick-off.

So with that in mind, read on as FootballGroundGuide breaks down how much one Spurs fan can expect to spend following their side to Yorkshire.

Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur away day cost breakdown

The biggest individual expense for a Spurs supporter heading to Elland Road is likely to be transport, with approximately £87 budgeted for a return train journey between London King's Cross and Leeds.

The 9:10am service arrives at 11:21am, while the estimated return fare accounts for the journey back to London after the match.

A further £15 has been allocated for local transport, comprising £10 for getting to and from King's Cross in north London and £5 for the return matchday shuttle between Leeds city centre and Elland Road.

The R2 service operates from Sovereign Street, providing a convenient alternative to the 35-minute walk from the railway station.

The match ticket should cost £30, in line with the Premier League's extended cap on away prices, which remains in place until the end of the 2027–28 season.

Tottenham's application window for the Leeds fixture has closed, so this estimate assumes the supporter has already secured a ticket through the club's allocation.

Food and drink should account for another £36, covering breakfast and coffee before departure, a pre-match meal, a stadium snack and a couple of drinks. The average price of a pint inside Elland Road is £5.60, while the official matchday programme costs £4.

Throwing in another £8 for miscellaneous expenses brings the estimated total of one Spurs fan's away day to £180, without the need for an overnight stay.

For supporters unable to reach King's Cross in time for the 9:10am departure, staying in Leeds on Friday night is an alternative.

A budget hotel room for Friday 6th November is currently available for around £106, with an additional evening meal taking the overall cost towards £300 per person.
