Newcastle United will welcome Brentford to St James' Park on 18 December in the quarter-final tie of the Carabao Cup. The fixture is set to kick-off at 8pm, with the winner one game closer to a trip to Wembley.
Eddie Howe's Newcastle side has had an excellent recent record in the Carabao Cup, reaching the final at Wembley in 2023 and the quarter-final stage in 2024.
For Brentford, the cup hasn't been quite as a happy hunting ground in the past few years. However, they did have back-to-back final-stage finishes in 2021 and 2022.

Newcastle United vs Brentford tickets: Buying guide
Home tickets
Newcastle United tickets for the Brentford match are available through a ballot system, with the initial wave sent to fans on 13 November. As always, a small number of tickets will be held back for general sale at a later date, though these are very limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to it being a Carabao Cup game, tickets are likely to be available close to the fixture. This is especially so as these games take place on a weekday, which often means certain fans cannot go. The tickets are also at the lower category B pricing due to it being a lower-tier fixture.

Newcastle United vs Brentford tickets: Alternative options
If you can't secure tickets through either club, there is one remaining option. In recent years, many fans have begun turning to third-party ticket resale sites to purchase football tickets, and some are already listing tickets for this match.
We recently reviewed LiveFootballTickets and Seatpick, both of which are options for fans looking to purchase tickets from third-party sites. As with all third-party websites, you will need to pay more than the face value of the tickets if you choose this option. However, this eliminates the need to buy memberships to obtain match tickets.
