How to get Tottenham vs Liverpool tickets for Carabao Cup semi-final clash

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Liverpool to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 8 January in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final tie.

The visitors will be looking to retain the title they won at Wembley Stadium last season, while Spurs will be looking to win their first trophy since 2008.

How to get Tottenham vs Liverpool tickets

Tottenham

Season Ticket Holders on the club’s ‘Automatic Cup Scheme’ at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be registered for this match. Payment will be taken from the same card stored with the club on Sunday 29 December.

Season Ticket Holders that aren’t on the club’s Automatic Cup Scheme will have the chance to book their seat from 10am on Monday 30 December until 5pm on Thursday 2 January. Supporters who don’t purchase a ticket during this window will be able to buy seats in later sales windows.

Liverpool fans will receive an increased away allocation as this is a cup match, meaning some North Stand Season Ticket Holders won’t be able to purchase their regular seat.

Tottenham released the following statement: “Due to the increased allocation given to the away team for Carabao Cup fixtures, some Season Ticket Holders will not be able to purchase their regular seat. Season Ticket Holders who purchased ‘Premier League Only’ seats in certain blocks of the North Stand will be able to purchase an alternative ticket for this fixture from 10am on Friday 3 January. All supporters impacted by this will be contacted directly via email in due course.”

Finally, One Hotspur Members will be able to purchase one ticket per Client Reference Number from 2pm on Friday 3 January. The details on the dates for general sale tickets are yet to be released by the club.

Sales dates:

  • Season Ticket Holders on Automatic Cup Scheme – Payment taken on Sunday 29 December.
  • Season Ticket Holders not on Automatic Cup Scheme – Able to purchase their usual seat from 10am on Monday 30 December until 5pm on Thursday 2 January.
  • One Hotspur Members sale – One Hotspur Members will be able to buy one ticket per Client Reference Number from 2pm on Friday 3 January (includes fans on Disability Access Scheme and Season Ticket Holders yet to secure their seat in the ground)
  • Ticket Share/Ticket Exchange – If the fixture sells out, the ticket exchange will open to Premium Members and Season Ticket Holders. Details to be confirmed.
  • General sale – TBC

Liverpool tickets

Liverpool released the ticketing details for the first leg on 23 December. The eligibility criteria for this match is based on specific games that took place against Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, AFC Bournemouth, Manchester City and MK Dons from 2019 to 2024.

From 10am on 27 December until 7:30am on 30 December, Season Ticket Holders and Members with one or more of the matches against the Premier League teams listed above will be able to buy a ticket.

From 8:15am until 3pm on 30 December, Season Ticket Holders and Members who went to Liverpool's League Cup game against MK Dons in 2019, will be eligible to get a ticket, but their seat is not guaranteed.

Sales dates:

  • Season Ticket Holders & Members with 1 or more of the following: Southampton (18/12/24), Brighton & Hove Albion (30/10/24), Fulham (24/01/24), AFC Bournemouth (01/11/23) and Manchester City (22/12/22). – From 10am on 27 December until 7:30am on 30 December.
  • Season Ticket Holders & Members with MK Dons (25/09/19) – From 8:15am until 3pm on 30 December.

Resale websites

Due to the high demand, some fans might turn to third-party resale websites to purchase Tottenham vs Liverpool tickets. There are risks involved with this, though.
