Musiala’s Stuttgart roots
The young German midfielder was born in Stuttgart in 2003, before moving to England at the age of seven. Following a successful youth career at Chelsea, Musiala moved to Bayern Munich, where he has played since, winning the Bundesliga on four occasions. Stuttgart are clearly proud of the 21-year-old’s achievements, with the sign located at the central station being one of the first things you see when you arrive there.
Jamal Musiala looking to win Euro 2024 on home soil
Musiala will be a key player in Germany’s pursuit of the European Championship title on home soil. In their first match of the tournament, Germany eased past Scotland, with Musiala scoring the second goal of the game at the Allianz Arena. Julien Nagelsmann’s team will face Hungary next on June 19 at the MHPArena in Stuttgart, with the Bayern Munich midfielder keen to impress in his home town.
