‘Heimatstadt von Jamal Musiala’ – Stuttgart central train station with nod to German star

Jamal Musiala was a star performer in Germany’s opening 5-1 victory against Scotland at Euro 2024. In recognition of his career so far, there is a sign welcoming people at the Stuttgart central train station that says “Home town of Jamal Musiala”.

Musiala’s Stuttgart roots

The young German midfielder was born in Stuttgart in 2003, before moving to England at the age of seven. Following a successful youth career at Chelsea, Musiala moved to Bayern Munich, where he has played since, winning the Bundesliga on four occasions. Stuttgart are clearly proud of the 21-year-old’s achievements, with the sign located at the central station being one of the first things you see when you arrive there.
