Brennan Johnson was a figure who split opinion among Tottenham fans during his first couple of seasons at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but that all changed after he scored the winner in the 2025 Europa League final.
That goal cemented his place in Tottenham folklore for eternity, and although there are still some fans who are left frustrated by him at times, nobody will ever be able to take that moment in Bilbao away from him.
It's only fitting, therefore, that there is a Tottenham Hotspur chant for Johnson and below, we take a closer look at the lyrics and story behind it.
Brennan Johnson chant, lyrics and tune
The Brennan Johnson chant is sung to the popular “____ again ole ole” chant. It's the same tune used by countless clubs for their players, including Nottingham Forest for their Chris Wood chant. The lyrics are as follows:
Johnson again, ole, ole
Johnson again, ole, ole
Johnson again, Johnson again,
Johnson again, ole, ole
Brennan Johnson chant background
The Brennan Johnson chant was created shortly after the Welshman won Tottenham the Europa League final with his goal against Manchester United.
Although Johnson has never been the most prolific player for the club, he has had a knack for scoring in big moments, not least in the aforementioned final.
Throughout the club's run to the final, Johnson was hugely important, netting four goals before the showpiece event in Bilbao. He has also popped up with goals against Manchester City and Chelsea in domestic fixtures, leading to some fans calling him a big game player.
If he can become more consistent, then he will be a superstar in his own right.

FGG says: Bring the ABBA chant back
When Johnson first signed for the club, a group of Tottenham fans attempted to get a Johnson chant started to the tune of ‘Super Trouper' by ABBA. This was a far better and more imaginative football chant than the ‘Johnson again' chant, and now that the winger is a certified Spurs legend, it could be time to revisit the ABBA suggestion.
