Liverpool fans travelled the furthest in September
Liverpool supporters have covered the most ground from the fixtures provided, travelling a combined 388.5 miles for their away matches at Ipswich Town and AFC Bournemouth.
Their trip to Portman Road accounts for 196.2 miles, before another 192.2-mile journey to the Vitality Stadium later in the month.
Sunderland fans rank second after travelling 345.1 miles, with trips to Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium and Manchester City's Etihad Stadium totalling 240.9 and 104.2 miles respectively.
Bournemouth complete the top three, with their supporters covering 293.1 miles for the trip to Newcastle.
Arsenal and Ipswich Town are next, with the Gunners travelling 286 miles for visits to the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and Brighton's Amex Stadium, while the Tractor Boys' trips to Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park and Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium total 277.1 miles.
Manchester City fans have barely had to travel in September
At the other end of the list, Man City supporters have travelled just four miles in the supplied September fixtures, with their only away game – the Manchester Derby – coming at Old Trafford.
Chelsea are next on 10.4 miles after their short journeys to Arsenal's Emirates Stadium and Brentford, while Nottingham Forest are third-lowest at 43.3 miles thanks to their visit to Villa Park.
Brentford and Newcastle United also feature near the bottom, with 85.1 and 82.8 miles respectively.
The contrast is stark, with Liverpool supporters covering almost 100 times as many miles as Manchester City fans across the fixtures included.
