The Blues returned to the Championship after an excellent 2024/25 campaign in which they were crowned League One champions. Not only that, but they also shattered the world record for most points by a team in one season, collecting 111 points overall.
Chris Davies' side will be relishing the opportunity to be back in the Championship, especially since they are seen as one of the favourites for promotion, despite being a newly-promoted team in the league.
One of the most challenging things will be going on the road against tougher opposition than they had last season in League One, but Birmingham have enough quality and plenty of fans ready to hit the road to support the team.
